Grand City Hotel Cancun

The small pool area had nice lounge chairs. Unfortunately, there was some noise now and then, but it didn't stop us from enjoying our trip 🌞

We had a great stay for one night.

Magnificent location adjacent to Budget car rental, nice staff, everything was great. The room was reasonably spacious and soundproof and beds were exceptionally comfortable. Location: the hotel was close enough to downtown Cancun. Downtown Cancun district was definitely worth visiting.

New-fashioned room, that also was stylish with comfortable beds. The price was gbp 959. Its service was GOOD.

friendly staff but lacking room cleanliness

The staff showed really good friendliness and support. Our family suite had a spacious layout, ideal for our children to play comfortably. The location offered easy access to nearby attractions, very convenient for our family outings.

The overall cleanliness of the room could have been better.

Nice big rooms with great breakfast, but parking can be tight at times.

The grand city hotel was a lovely stay. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. Our suite was a nice size with a couch, fridge, and microwave. Breakfast by the pool was delicious too! It's only a 15-minute walk to mercado 28.

The hotel had a golf course and a 24h front desk, made planning our outings super easy. Just a heads-up, it's a bit noisy from a nearby bar, but we made the most of it and had a blast!

Really good choice for a couple of nights in Cancun with great value for money. Had a lovely dip in the pool which was refreshing after our day out. Be prepared for some hustle and bustle, it's a lively area!

The hotel was beautifully designed with modern, streamlined decor. The spacious rooms and clean common areas were easily accessible. The helpful staff also ensured that I felt welcomed throughout my visit.

The room was spacious with a couch, fridge, and microwave. Super comfy beds plus the air conditioning worked perfectly. I loved the fresh smell of the towels and sheets. It had everything we needed, but the plumbing was a bit iffy. The shower pressure could be better and we had to flush the toilet a couple of times. Not a big deal though, considering how nice the overall stay was.

Plus, it's just a short walk to delicious dining spots and the nearby Casa de Cultura Cancun, allowing me to explore the local culture easily. It's perfect for solo travelers who enjoy walking around the city and discovering landmarks.

The room at Grand City Hotel impressed me with its spaciousness and modern decor. It featured a clean environment and included a refrigerator, a nice touch. The location was decent, with access to public transportation for the beach without being in the touristy area. I encountered some significant issues . Check-in was strictly at 3 PM, which I found a bit rigid, especially having arrived at 2 PM. The staff didn't provide helpful directions for nearby attractions or dining options. The real problem hit when we returned to the hotel in the evening. The noise from the nearby Highway 666 bikers bar was good, we learned the music would continue until 3 AM. Our request to change rooms was denied, and although a different room was eventually offered, it was nearly as noisy. For the price we paid, I expected a better experience regarding comfort and quietness. Unfortunately, I left without any response or refund from the hotel, which left a sour taste in my mouth.

The suite I stayed in was spacious and had two comfortable double beds, it was also well furnished.

The room was soundproof, the staff were very nice and courteous, and the food had a wide variety of great alternatives. Rewritten: Our room was nice and quiet, the staff were super friendly, and the food had a lot of great options.
